Do I have to pay a deposit? 

For picnics we will require a £80 deposit to secure the booking and the remaining balance 48 hours before the event date.

Can I cancel after paying the deposit? 

We offer to cancel the booking for any reason up to 48 hours after deposit is paid. Following this we are happy to change the date of the booking once. The date can be changed until 48 hours before the booked date which is when full payment of balance will be required.

When do I need to pay the full balance of the booking? 

We require full payment 48 hours before the booking date. If this is not received the booking will be cancelled and the client will lose the Deposit. Don’t worry though, we will contact you to remind you.

What happens if it rains?

We understand the unpredictability of the English weather, so we do ask all clients to have a rainy day contingency and we are happy to set up our tables inside on these occasions! And don’t worry ..the set up won’t loose any of its magic!

Do I need to pay a breakage deposit?

Yes, we ask for a £50 deposit to be paid before or on the day. This deposit will be held until after the party and returned to you providing there is no damage ie - heavily stained items or broken items. We will always provide client with any receipts to prove costs for broken items. Larger bookings over 10 may require larger deposit depending on the size.  

Who is responsible for any damage?

Once Set & Style have installed all items they will become the clients responsibility and any breakages or damage will be accountable and removed from the client’s breakage deposit. Set & Style hold full liability insurance for our installations and removal of goods. Every item left with the client will be in good condition and checked with client at the start of the event.


Do you offer outside set ups all year round?

We offer outside or inside set ups from 1st April - September 30th and inside only from 1st October - 31st March

How long is the hire for?

Our table for 2 is based on a 2 hour hire, larger adult tables are a 4 hour hire and children’s tables 3 hour hire. If additional hours are required we will charge £30 / hour if the time is available. 

Who does the washing up?

Us! We will remove all plates / glasses and cutlery and take care of all the washing up. We do ask the client to remove food from the table and food from plates as well as empty glasses of liquid prior to the arranged removal time. This just helps with the speed and efficiency of the removal and we really appreciate it.
